When you arrive, you'll get your name tag and a token coin for the Joy Booth art vending machine, which is a fun little bonus where your inner child can grab a surprise like a fun sticker, print, or bookmark.

From there, you’ll settle into your space where your Happy Belly Cat is already outlined, taped down, and ready to go.

You’ll notice the Art Color Bar set up in a full rainbow of acrylic paint pens, all laid out so you can easily choose whatever colors call to you. There’s also a watercolor station with brushes, water, and everything you need when you’re ready for that part.

If you’re not sure what to do with your design, there will be a pattern inspiration sheet with ideas like florals, hearts, and fun patterns to get you started.

Your job is to simply have fun. You get to create your own version of a Happy Belly Cat.

You’ll start by using the paint pens to bring your cat and overalls to life, then move into watercolor to paint your cat and background however you want.

There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

Once your piece dries, you'll peel off the tape and see those clean edges come through, which is always one of the best parts.

We’ll take photos, celebrate what everyone created, and you’ll head home with your finished Happy Belly Cat.
