Come Create Your Happy Belly Cat
A Happy Belly Cats Playshop is part storytelling, part painting, and a whole lot of play.
When you arrive, you're not just painting a cat. You're getting turned into a Happy Belly Cat and moving into the whimsical little town of Clover Patch.
Together, we'll discover who your cat is. Maybe they're a lot like you, or maybe they're your wildly confident alter ego. You'll choose their personality, their colorful patchwork overalls, and something special for them to hold that tells us a little bit about who they are.
Then you'll bring your Happy Belly Cat to life with paint, give them a name, and introduce Clover Patch to its newest resident.
No painting experience needed. Wonky lines, wild ideas, and ridiculous cat names are very welcome here.
What happens at a Happy Belly Cats Playshop?
1. Arrive & Get Settled-You'll get your name tag, find your spot, and get ready to enter the world of Clover Patch. There might even be a little surprise waiting for you from the Joy Booth.
2. Discover Your Happy Belly Cat- Before you start creating, you'll use a fun brainstorming sheet to figure out who your Happy Belly Cat is. Choose their colors and patchwork patterns, decide what they'll hold in their paw, and pick a special symbol for their front pocket that says something about you. Then it's time to give your cat a name and start imagining who they are in Clover Patch.
3. Bring Your Happy Belly Cat to Life- Now it's time to create! Visit the Art Bar to gather the colors and supplies you want to use, then bring your Happy Belly Cat to life. Add your patches, patterns, pocket symbol, and all the little details that make your cat feel like you.There's no right or wrong way to create your Happy Belly Cat.
4. Meet the Newest Residents of Clover Patch- This is where the fun really comes together. One by one, we'll introduce our Happy Belly Cats to the group, share their names, and tell everyone a little bit about who they are. Expect ridiculous names, unexpected personalities, and plenty of laughter as we officially welcome Clover Patch's newest residents. We'll take pictures with our Happy Belly Cats, too, before everyone heads home with the character they brought to life.
We’ll take photos, celebrate what everyone created, and you’ll head home with your finished Happy Belly Cat.
